So, back to the Christmas present. Drumroll please....... We had the couch recovered! I am so happy with the result! Getting things like this done in Turkey is sooo cheap, because labor is cheap. They restuffed, reshaped, reinforced, and recovered. All for a mere $200. I only brag because I need to remind myself of all the good things about this assignment. =)
Next we are going to have an entertainment center built. And maybe one day we will get rid of the futon. Although we did have a new cover made for it last year so now it is obnoxious red instead of that obnoxious blue it used to be. We are slowly but surely leaving student life behind. As Michael put it when he saw the couch. "Wow, it is like grown-up furniture. We are going to have a real living room one of these days."

Love it Lin'!!! $200???-that's so cool-what a price:) Your family picture is beautiful-♥
Wow! It's beautiful Linda! Do you already have the pillows before or did you get those to go with the couch. Doesn't it feel so good when you get a good bargain? I remember back at the village you were the Queen of Bargains. Guess you haven't let that title go just yet. Good for you. More money to see the world where you are.
SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET deal Linda. Doesn't it feel good? hooya! It's nice you had it recoverd too, if your the greenie kind. I'm not a TOTAL tree-hugger, but why waste if you don't have to? GREAT reycycle job!
